MG Midget and Sprite Technical - 1500 EXHAUST FITTING
I am going to fit an exhaust on a 1500 and as the car has not had one fitted since i bought it i am looking for pictures of how and where the brackets fit . |

Mark - I'm at work, so can't help you with photos. But there's a clamp at the bottom of the bell housing that affixes the pipe where it crosses under the transmission. Then there's another at the back edge of the rear bulkhead, and two more fittings at either side of the fuel tank. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it's a start. -:G:- |

Hi Mark. Just bought exhaust for my '79 midget,hopefully finish installing it this weekend.the one on the car when i bought it was a cobbled up job off an older car, so there were no brackets to fit the new one. If you like i'll take some shots of what i've done,and post them on here,not sure how to do that yet,or i can email them to you with a bit more info. |
