MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Anyone know how to do a Fly off handbrake Mod?

As I was working on the handbrake yesterday in my 71 midget, I got to wondering. What would it take to turn it into a fly off unit? I have trie done out when I test drove an MGA and I like it. Besides, its in keeping with MG Tradition.

I have heard that you need to reverse the pawl and I found this site,
http://asciimation.co.nz/pics/flyaway/
But there is very little in the way of step by step instructions.

Any Ideas?

I looked around and I found this thread

The problem is that most of the links are dead.
