MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Body Color Rubber Bumpers?
Yeah, I know this isn't a tech question, but... I've looked through the archives & searched the web for pictures of a rubber bumpered midget with the bumpers painted body color...haven't found any thing yet. I plan to have my car re-sprayed in the next few months & thought about having the black bumpers sprayed body color...just not sure what it would look like. Has anybody seen this done? Any photos or links I could check out? Any help is appreciated! Dave :) |

Dave: Saw a Burgundy 1975 in my area recently (ad deleted, can't find pic, sorry) with the blubbers painted the color of the body. Frankly it wasn't pretty IMO. If I can find the pic I'll post it here. |

Dave, I've seen a few done like this, some look superb, others just bloody awfull.... Maybe you could take a picture of yours and then play on Photoshop (or similar) to see what it may look like.... Mark. |
