MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Bonnet safety catch Help please
Can someone please help. My 1500 midget failed it's MOT on Wednesday because it didn't have a saftey catch fitted. It never has since I owned it so not sure how it got a MOT last time round. Any way I have now got one but i'm not sure how to fit it as it doesn't come with a bracket. Should there be something on the bonnet for it to fit to? Mine hasn't but does look like something has broken of around the place it should be fitted. Can someone please take a photo of theres so I can see what I am missing cause I think I am going to have to make a bracket up for it. Why isn't nothing easy on classic cars!Cheers |
