MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Boss collapsable steering column

I am chancing the original frog eye column to a collapsable one. Where can I buy an aluminum boss with original horn push? (for a reasonable price?)

I don't have an answer for you, just another question! I have often wondered about this upgrade. Is it a simple bolt-on, or did you have to modify the body?

I did not do the upgrade yet. I 'll start as soon as I have the boss. I got a collapsable column from Dave O Neal and I don't see the need for body modifications so far.

Yes but the shape of the later boss is different, so I 'll have the splines changed. I wonder what the original color of the collapsible column is. Mine is black near the steering wheel and hammerite aluminium near the steering rack.
