MG Midget and Sprite Technical - broken clutch pressuer plate?

When evrer i want to go to an event the midget seems to think other wise

having had the pedal box removed (brake pedal rusted to the pivot)i was reconecting every thing.
But the clutch would not function even after exesive bleeding.

checking every thing i got under the car and the arm comming out of the gear box seemd to be comming back verry mutch....

so mutch in fact i could not move it further back only forward!

so has my pressuerplate broken? or am i missing something

Sounds as if your release bearing has broken. Like mine did a couple of months ago.

Take the boot off and shine a light into the bell-housing. You'll probably be able to see what's wrong.

Any luck sofar Onno?

brmmmm

it was apperently an idiotic amount of bleeding
the pumping method did not work but finaly after 1/2 liter of bleeding with an easy bleed it is finaly working(kind of)
