MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Bullet mirrors

I have just purchased some bullet mirrors for my midget to replace the tex one's, I know the visibility isn't as good but I like them, anyway they are fitted but I didn't know they came with lights built in. Has anyone wired these lights up, ie routing wire through door to car
