MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Clutch Master Cylinder seal repair kits

Following on from the clutch pedal issues, the master cylinder is weeping so needs a seal replacement kit.
Does anyone know where it's possible to find a genuine Lockheed or AP Carparo one, GRK3005?

First image shows what my cylinder's seals etc look like and the second is MGOC's 'generic' replacement which I bought on line.

The master cylinder is plain with no groove or dimple.
Both rubber/plastic seals are slightly larger than the originals and only one replacement has a hole. I'm wary of cutting it for fear of wrecking it so ideally want to replace like for exact like.

Do you know if Paul Hunt's Power Track replacements are genuine or reproduction?

power track are usually very good at supplying nos or equivalent replacements in my experience
Bob Beaumont

Thanks Bob, will ring them on Monday.

Jeremy

I too have found Powertrack really helpful with a clear answer if you ask directly what exactly they can supply - ask whether genuine 920 Engineering (formerly AP Caparo and Lockheed).

Have you got the correct Unipart Number for the repair kit? I have it listed as a GRK3008 with Lockheed and AP Caparo numbers as LK10993 and HMK139.

Best wishes

Thanks Mike,

I'm a bit confused to tell you the truth.
The m/c is a plain body one but the internals seem to be for a groove or dimple body? See image.
The piston has a grooved spur which takes a nylon washer which turns retains the rubber seal.
Moss show a plain body repair kit as GRK3005 whereas as you say, the bits I seem to need are from a groove body i.e. GRK3008.
Thanks for the Lockheed and Caparo numbers, very useful.
I emailed Paul yesterday but will give him a ring tomorrow to see what he can suggest, lucky him!
