MG Midget and Sprite Technical - clutch slave
hi all. replacing seals on clutch slave cylinder on my midget 1500 1975. when assembling should piston be lightly oiled or greased or put together dry. thanks bob. |

Lubricate it with some brake fluid. |

Don't put anything in there except brake fluid. Really, don't. |

what a ?oxy job. changed clutch pipe and thought i would put new seals in slave cylinder. took 2 days and still could not get to work. in the end put old seals back and working after about 10 mins bleeding. was going to renew seals in my bgt but think will leave well alone. bob. |
