MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Clutch slave remote bleeding
Hi, I hope you are all staying safe. I have my 1275 engine out and thought I would fit clutch slave cylinder remote bleed pipe whist it is accessible. What do I need and where can I get it from? Thanks in advance. Dave |

Hi Dave not a lot in reality A rear flexi hose, 2 bleed nipples, a 3 way brake pipe splitter and a self tapping screw to fix it all to the inner footwell panel! Regards Stuart |

Or I do it this way.

Thanks, Alan, I take it you made up the black bracket. Do you make them for other people - could you make one for me to purchase off you, please? Dave |

Hi If you do not want to make up your own remote bleed (Alan has given out info previously listing parts needed - including an MG midget brass brake union with one output blocked off), Peter May Engineering sell a version: https://www.petermayengineering.com/product/remote-clutch-bleed-kit/ Cheers Mike |

You can get a female to female adapter that screws directly into one end of the brake hose and takes a single bleed nipple. So the full kit is just 3 items; bleed nipple, adapter and brake hose. 4 if you add some sort of bracket or clamp to hold the top end up somewhere convenient to reach. |

Dave I can make you one but can't get to the P.O. in isolation. Alan |
