MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Dash light rheostat questions
I'm installing new aftermarket gauges including a voltmeter and oil pressure gauge and also installing switches that are self illuminated. Will the rheostat: 1. Work at all with this arrangement? 2. If so will it handle additional load of 4-5 more lights? 3. Should I rewire completely and change to a heavy duty 12V dimmer? As part of this work I plan to change to a mini 12 circuit fuse panel so additional circuit(s) if needed are available. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Bud |

Bud, I think you'll be fine with the original dimmer. The lights aren't that bright to begin with. |

Question -- do you ever dim the lights?? I never did -- Why not do away wit hit leaving a hole for an extra switch for maybe spotlights?? |
Mick - The engine is in! |
Dim the lights! They are so dim already that it's hard to tell if they are on until it gets really dark. :-) |
