MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Door recess panel
I'm currently restoring a 1969 Sprite that had been "creatively" maintained by a previous owner. When replacing the door trim with the correct panel I have discovered that the recess panels are missing. Is anyone able to provide the dimensions of this panel so I can recreate it? Thanks |

These are not flat panels, so unless you are a skilled panel beater you may not be able to make them as original. With my basket case 1966 midget I had one but not the pair. Amazingly I found one on ebay - it was even the correct one, as they are handed. If I was at home I could certainly measure one for you, but I don't expect to be back for about 3 weeks. Sorry. Why don't you try an MG breaker like Andy Jennings, or the MGB Hive? |

Thanks Mike. I'll have a ring round a few yards, I don't think my panel beating skills are quite up to the job! After a few years of running around with the previous owners homemade door panels I can wait a little longer to get the job done properly |

I have at least one, if not a pair. |

Thanks Dave, located a pair at Welsh MG Center so looks like I'm back on track. |
