MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Electric questions

All relate to 1500 (78) Original wiring
Hazard switch looks nothing like any of the switches on at least 5 suppliers websites I have looked at so must be wrong one. (doesn't work anyway). Any suggestions as to best supplier / switch?
Horn does not work from column switch. (horn works if I ground it at the front or at the column, all wires test OK to column switch). Can anyone help me identify where the earth for the blue wire that goes from the horn column switch is?
Some PO has messed about with the reflector / way that the bulb holder goes into the reflector in the indicator in the rubber bumper. The indicators worked before I removed the bulb holders however the cardboard that was holding them into the refectors is not my idea of a 'good bodge'. I can't find any side lights at the front and now have everything in bits so just to confirm, are the side lights in the headlamp sealed beam unit? And can anyone give me any ideas on a cheap but effective bodge to get the bulb holders to stay in the reflectors appart from sealant? Do the bulb holders come seperate to the reflectors? (can't find any online). Does the rubber boot (missing on mine) covering the bulb holder on the original fitting push over the back of the refector fitting to hold the bulb holder in?
(Having looked at on line replacement cost this probably caused PO or a garage to do this mod?) I'm now having the same worries for the future at 55 per side, both sides the same *!*%?*. Has anyone a cheaper alternative?

Found the side light bulb.

Dave,
to encourage others to reply I'll put a bit -
to see what the original hazard switch looks like look in the Driver's Handbook, you are already at the stage where it will be very useful to you and a small investment of £8 that will repay itself many times

it also has wiring diagrams along with much other useful info for you

horn wires are usually purple or purple black, horns need good connections all the way through to sound well

sidelights you found, Driver's Handbook would have speeded this up

sorry I can't help you with the reflectors as I've never seen 1500 indicators close up

the rubber boot, if I understand you correctly, is just a protective cover

why keep guessing or needing to ask when accurate information could be available at your fingertips

Driver's Handbook - (Ref: 0058) - http://www.mgocshop.co.uk/catalog/Online_Catalogue_Handbooks_5.html

also useful but not as convenient as paper copies is the DVD that has parts books, workshop manual and of course Driver's Handbook - http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-HMCC3010DVD
