MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Emission Control

71 midget w/1275 engine. Everything appears to now be back to original for a USA car except... I believe that this model requires the three port cannister with one line between the carbs and the cannister. The timing chain cover has an oil separator welded to it and it has a "port/tube" on top of the separator open at the top and begging for a hose to somewhere.
Found the 3 port cannister at Moss Motors but can someone help me with the separator "connection".

I can't get the pics at the moment as my computer is busted but they will be in the Archives also a copy of the Driver's (owners) Handbook will clearly show you this plus lots more
