MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Exhaust replacement
Can anyone shed some light on this issue. I have a Mk111 midget with the standard exhaust with the two silencers which wrap around the boot with the visible silencer across the underside of the floor boot. I need to replace the back section with the silencers but would rather not have the original arrangement with the exposed silencer. Ideally I want the same level of sound attenuation but with a simple pipe poking out the back. l had the system the club sell with just the one box without all the pipework spaghetti but I found this too noisy and tiring on long journeys. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve this |

We use GEX3429 rear silencer MGB on our A series Midgets and find it a nice balance between tone and not too loud. |
