MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Frogeye front suspension & discs
Its about time I gave my frogeye a treat. It still has drums at the front and the king pins, etc are showing their 50+ years age. I saw the Wheeler Dealer programme recently when they fitted discs and replaced the entire king pin and wishbone assembly for about £100 if I remember rightly. Does anyone know where I can get the entire assembly please? I emailed the show via their website, but only received an automated response. |

I have done quite a bit of reading in archives etc and there seems to be differing opinions as to whether my original master cylinder needs to be replaced and whether the valve (wherever that is) should be removed to prevent the discs dragging. Any help much appreciated Dave, thanks I have emailed |

I've been running discs on the front of my frog (with std frog master cylinder) for the past 20 years with no trouble. Only done about 20k in that time still on the same set of discs, only recently changed the pads for the first time. Simon |
