MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Front spoiler/splitter - Spridgetech?
Hi all, I am a new user (but a 30 year Spridget owner). I have a road Mk3 Sprite, two racing midgets and a Mk 2/3 Sprite that we are rebuilding into a fairly potent race car.
We are trying to find a good front spoiler/splitter for a Mk 3 Sprite and I have come across many images of one produced/marketed by Spridgetech. However, it appears that Spridgetech's website no longer exists. Has anyone else taken these on and/or does anyone know of other front splitters/spoilers that I might be able to look into? I am in Australia, but happy to source from pretty much anywhere... Kind regards, Nick |

Nick--Welcome , hope you enjoy it here----
I saw this on ebay the other day and thought at the time it would look the duck's guts on a Midget And it's in Sydney so nice and close for getting some measurements etc Might need a bit of fettling / shortening but I'd imagine you could handle that-It looks nice and even in the middle so if it was too long and needed a bit out of the middle it would match up ok https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-ESCORT-MK1-FRONT-SPOILER-RACE-AIR-DAM-RARE-ITEM/231315801266?hash=item35db7f04b2:g:OKMAAOxyQj9RTR~0 Also this but getting pricey specially by the time it's posted---- https://www.spridgetmania.com/part/HUF400/Air-Dam---Bumper-Fiberglass-Square-Nose-Spridget |

William! Many thanks - I think I'll be taking a bit of a drive after the weekend (we are racing on Sunday!). Looks like a good starting point... |

There's a book with this sort of stuff in it... Daniel Stapleton's MG Midget and AH Sprite High Performance Manual. |
