MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Fusebox
I've still got the old style fuse box/glass fuses. I want to replace with a more modern version, but don't know what I should be buying. Can anyone help? |

I replaced my std 4-fuse box with 2x Halfords 4-fuse. Don't forget that two of the fuses have 2 connections on the 'fused' terminal, so will need 4 fuses on a single-blade fuse box. I posted a pic some while back. A |

When I fitted the later style two cylinder brake and clutch pedal box to Lara I took the opportunity to attempt to tame the "feral wiring" around the compartment too I fitted two six way fuse holders, one to handle the live all the time part of the loom (lights stereo and relay power ins) and one to work the ignition fed section I got mine from http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/ They handle modern blade fuses (not the recently popular miniblade fuses though) they come fitted for separate fuse runs but as I needed a "busbar to feed all the fuses from the one basic supply I soldered a link between all the holders on one side on each block The final look is a little tidier (but not very :( ) |

Vehicle Wiring Products also have modern blade type fuse boxes. I'm fitting one to my midget. I'm using LFB06 halfway down this page http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/fuses/holders1.php |
