MG Midget and Sprite Technical - grinding noise on lock
Hi there was just wondering if some one can help ive taken my midget out today for a drive and when i reversed back on a full lock there was a grinding noise so i had a look and noticed that the disc was rubbing against the shock absorber. could this be anything to do with the thrust washer under the trunion mount on the stub ? it looks like the stub sits higher one side of the car than the other any sugestions please many thanks |

Hi N Can you give more details on your front suspension? A |

Hi there when i look at the lower arms where the stub axle joins the passenger side it sits with no gap but on the drivers side there is about a 3-5mm gap and that is the side where the disc rubs thanks |
