MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Heat shield

I use a HIF44 but the heat shield is very small,it came with the manifold & carb I bought of ebay.
It is only about 4 inches square and was wondering if anybody using this carb has this heatshield or has changed it.

my small Rover Metro heat shield is fine in use

it IS in the picture but so small you have to strain to see it in here

simply fine, works well
