MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Help - front shock
Hello, By changing my front shocks on my midget, I am unable to tighten the two screws of the shock at the right. Looking for the cause, I saw by removing the spring and the buffer, that the plate in which you bolt the screws is fee in the housing which supports the buffer. Namely, the form of housing appears to be made to tighten below the plate to prevent it to move. So I can not put it back. Do you know a method to refit the plate? Otherwise, do I have to unweld the buffer support, weld the plate and the buffer support. Given the access it will not be easy to unweld the buffer support with an angle grinder! thank you |
