MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Help required
Can anyone help me ? I recently removed my twin hs4's from my 1500 midget to clean them . Upon replacing them my car refuses to start ! Any ideas anyone ? Im really starting to lose heart with it |

The usual questions, are you getting gas through the carbs? Needle valves may be stuck shut. Are you getting too much gas through the carbs? Jets set too rich. Are you getting spark? Did you unplug any HT leads? You didn't mention how you cleaned them. Did you strip them down completely or just clean them superficially? I'm sure some more suggestions will be along soon. |

As Martin has noted + what did you do to them ? Do the pistons go up and down in the dashpots ? need to come down freeley and finish with a 'clunk' noise. R |
