MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Hose Clamps
Does anybody sell the old wire type hose clamps? |

I bought some at the Stoneleigh MG Show a couple of years ago. I'm damned if I can remember where I put them! |

Tom. The last ones I purchased, for an MGB, were from Moss Motors. You might try their paper catalog and see if they are available for the Sprite/midget. Les |

Re. wire hose clamps. Do they offer better hose sealing/security compared to 'worm-screw, band type' jubilee clips? Or are their use a matter of originality? |

Thanks Les. Somewhere in my memory I thought I had seen them. I was looking online. I pulled out a 2009 catalog and there they were. |

Andy, I'd guess it's originality because the ordinary jubilee clips work fine and the wires cover a range too rather just being one exact size I prefer raised/turned/rounded edges to the clip and solid bands |
