MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Ignition switch connections
Started to fit ignition switch to my 1977 midget checked wiring diagram and contacts say terminals 1 and 5 and 2 others not marked but switch has contact 15 , 30, 50 , 57a , and 75 marked on the back on relays 30 is usually feed but the others i am not sure about any one know what goes to what. |

Sorry, wiring diagram shows wire going to terminals 1 and 2 and there are two other wires that have no terminal numbers allocated to them . The ignition switch that is fitted has terminals on the rear marked 15,30,50,57a and 75 I have since found out that these relate to DIN72552 STANDARD. |

I thought he was meaning relays - I expect it's in the 1977 owners handbook though :) |

Hi guys, 30 is battery live Brown 75 is accesory White/Green 15 is ignition White 50 is starter White/red 57aI think is live with key out and is used on some european vehicles as a feed for a parking light system. Hope this helps |
