MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Indicator Flasher Unit
Hi I have been able to locate the flasher for my hazards on my midget 1500. However my indicators are not working correctly, they used to work on one side and not the other. I believe that I now need to replace my flasher unit but I am unable to locate it. Does anybody have any idea where the midget 1500 indicator flasher unit would be located? Rylan |

the flasher unit for the indicators ought to be on the firewall, beside the RH side bonnet hinge if the indicators work on one side, then the flasher unit couldn't be the trouble (as it is used by both sides), and I'd suspect the ground is not secure on the non-blinking side if the indicators used to work, but don't now that you've remedied the hazards, then I'd suspect the bottom two wires on the hazard rocker switch, those two green wires feed the indicator circuit only when the hazard switch is "off", and it is common for there to be an issue with the quality of the contact between those two try jumping those two green wires and see if that makes any difference in the indicators for you Norm |
