MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Indicator Stalk ?
Hi All My midget has just failed its MOT :-( as the indicator stalk does not stay down when I indicate right. Is a new stalk required to fix this is or is there another way? Leacy have them in stock but I could find lots of ways to spend £50 Thanks for any help Regards Tony |

You can try a used one from a scrappie, should be about 1/2 that price (just make sure it works first). In my experience, the part that wears/fails is a plastic piece and not serviceable. Norm |

>>>as the indicator stalk does not stay down when I indicate right.<<< I didn't know it could fail on that May not be the indicator but the trip or cancel stud, possibly, see - http://www.mgocspares.co.uk/acatalog/MGOC_Spares_HORN___SWITCHES___WIRING__MIDGET__154.html |

Thanks Nigel Neither did I!!! But I wont argue with him as he is generally quite fair. Thanks for the link, but it appears that altough it is listed, it doent appear to be available. I will try googling it and another few sites to see what I can find. |

BIG ELASTIC BAND inside the cowling maybe. Might add extra "sticktion" to the stalk OR try Googling LeaceyMG or the old fashioned way 0121 356 3003 Ron usually has stock of most things |
