Thats one really dinky rack! Nice conversion and that suspension looks as if it should do the business.

Your other link isn't correct, but I found the site through google, very interesting project, any advance in the cooling and heating front?

well thought out....vary simialer to the huffkar spridget suspension

The only thing I dont like are the rose hymn joints on the A-arms that connect to the king pins....Id rather see a bushing for road use.

Im curious as to why the triangle piece on top of the shock then connected to the frame.....why not just by-pass the triangle and connet directly to the frame...is it because the shock would not be vertical ...if that is the case why not bend the frame bar out .....

Sorry Im just not making the connections

Prop,
The reason is stated in the description on one of the photos. The other side is connected to a turnbuckle that allows for precise adjustments to ride height and corner weighting for the ultimate in handling.

I dig what you're saying Prop- and my "next" version will probably eliminate the heim joint at the outer upper a-arm. I don't like the single shear aspect, although people in the Locost world don't seem to mind. David's correct as to the reasoning for the upper shock link. It gives me a little more play with ride height adjustment, and separates ride height/corner weighting from shock preload adjustment. Now I just have to figure out what all that means in a practical sense!
