Rob, this was for sale 3 or 4 weeks ago along with an incomplete rusted-out hulk of an early Spridget, cut about to take a V8 engine. I viewed it and decided it needed a lot of work to remove the arch extensions, repair the cracks and generally fettle it for use. Needs expensive Triumph side catches too. It went for far more than I expected, maybe because somebody thought they can recover a valuable early sixties registration, and now it appears the new owner is looking to recover some of his outlay. Given that new ones 'ready-to-fit' are available I would avoid it. |

Thanks for the heads up! |

On the other hand Rob If you can get it for a good price, repair it youself and keep it closed with a couple of DZUZ fasteners it could be worth doing and it would look really cool! Carl |

can't disagree Carl, if you have the bodywork skills which I lack :-( |

Went for £155 in the end, far too much if you ask me! |
