hi all my midget turns over very slowly anny ideas the batterys fine but one of the wires to the coil is crap someones used a female to female conector wedged in a plastic sleeve just wondered if this could be the fault |

Are the earth connections on the starter motor and on the battery ok? |

thanks richard will give it a try in morning many thanks |

Do you have a circuit diagram? If the earth fails to sort it there is something else you can try. Let us know how it goes. |
G Williams (Graeme) |
remember to pull the batt cable off the batt and actually look into the windings of the cable for the greenish white powder....some times the powder likes to hide inside the cable and not visiable from the outside of the cable....thus appearing perfectly fine. yepp... I got a whole collection of that perticular T-shirts over the years...but I never learn. prop |

circuit diagrams in the Drivers Handbook - http://www.mgocshop.co.uk/catalog/Online_Catalogue_Handbooks_5.html and more reliable than those in the Haynes workshop manuals workshop manual for repairs but driver's Handbook for prevention |
