MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Midget 1500 Windstop
Hi Chaps....... Just a quick question regarding windstops for my 1500, Having seen them in the club catalogue for well over £100.... any advice on making one ?.... or maybe where they can be got slightly cheaper.... The club mesh ones do look nice.... any one seen a simillar version... or know where they are more competatively priced ? Thanks in advance Yours in MG Darbs. |

Darbs, have a look at the thread : http://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/ubbthreads.php/topics/479540/Wind_blocker#Post479540 there are various designs shown there, Graham. |

I got a secondhand MGF one off eBay, which fits snugly inside my rollbar. I had to make brackets which clamp onto the rollbar supports. As the MGF one is not as deep as the "proper" midget ones on offer from the normal sources, I also had to make a smaller perspex piece which fits to the bottom of the windstop. A bit heath robinson, but hey, it works a treat ! My toupee stays on :o)
