Nostly in race cars for the track...But ive seen many a pic. of them for the street...the cerrara is a popular choice because its comes in padded also...i think most are bolted dirctly to the floor, no runners, another popular choice is the miatia MX5 almost a straight swap with better "Hold in" then the midget and speakers built into the headrest. Hi Les I had something very similar in my Midget for a number of years. They are very upright and I had to lift the leading edge up to get a good driving position. Mine where bolted directly to the floor which makes for a very low seating position. The drivers side rubbed a bit on the roll bar but they fitted quite well. With the addition of a loose piece of foam they where comfy enough for me and my 6 months pregnant wife to drive to Geneva and back with no problems. I still have the seats which are now a little tired around the edges. I am replacing them with some very nice leather MGF seats which I picked up off e-bay for £30. very comfy!! Carl |
