MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Midget spitfire brake disc conversion
Hi, a new by K conversion. Does anyone know how you get triumph spitfire brake disc to fit the midget wheel hub? The ones I've got seem to be 5mm too big ? |

You need a spacer between the hub and the spitfire rotor Try mini spares and look up HUF 150 or HUF 175 ??? As a part # Prop |

Here is a link to minispares usa sister site... its got a good write up on it. The spacer if huf175 http://www.spridgetmania.com/part/HUF175/Big-Disc-Brake-Adapter-Kit-pair-Sprite--Midget Btw... instead of mgb calipers ... look into princes americas calilers ???? There supposed to be lighter wieght and a 4 pot caliper instead.of a I want to say there known as a DB4 ?? On the mgb caliper it supposed to be able to take a bigger brake bad for the mgb v8, so check into that also as that will almost double your brake pad size over the standard stock size Good luck... keep us posted as im hoping to do this myself in the near future Prop |
