MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Midget Wiper Arms?
I admit to being an interloper from the MGA forum but I am hoping that you may be able to help. I have a pair of wiper arms on my MGA which I believe are from a later MG midget. They have a screw operated clamp on the spindle end which secures the arm to the spindle. The reason for this interest is that most of the present repro orginal design push-on arms are not very secure and keep falling off. I will attach a couple of pics of the wiper arms to see if anyone recognises them and can tell us the part number. Thanks Colyn Firth |

Hi Colyn, My '71 Sprite uses that exact sort. Last time l replaced them l got them from Sussex Classic Car parts. Their web site lists item with photos so you can double check they match what you are after. |

According to Moss, they were fitted up to about 1971, before the end changed to a straight bayonet fitting. |
