MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Minilites on Midgets

I quite like the thought of a set of Minilites or similar on the midget.
I know the traditional colour is silver, but looking on the net there are quite a fer combinations available. Eg anthracite with polished, black with polished rim etc.
Now my Midget is Blaze, so which colour wheel matches ?
Any ideas, pictures most welcome while i am saving my pocket money.
Also anybody got a second hand set they want to sell ?
S Langston

blaze is yellowish orange ?

see my profile photo - anthracite with polished -

note centre caps in the photo are wrong in being silver they should be anthracite, I've got the correct ones never got round to changing them

I once described it as blaze red and was lambasted from within the forum.
So now it is simply Blaze, you make your own mind up as to red or orange.
Love the wheels they really suit the Midget.

yeah found the thread

not the colour I was thing of, it's orangey-red then

if the paint is bright coloured, as suits Spridgets IMO, then silver

if not so bright or dowdy colour then grey

personally I don't really like the look of any alloy wheels (on most cars) and prefer the steel with hub caps as per other threard

I know it's a two part process but it would be very useful if you and others, if you want to, could put up their 'View the vehicle' as this would help with advice instead of search or asking for the details each time

Here is a picture I nicked from the net of a Blaze Midget with silver Minilites.
Looks nice :-)

the factory never produced a r/b car in Blaze !

The Midget in the photo is Vermillion.

It's just orange.
Alex G Matla

Alex, although most people would consider Vermillion an orange colour it is technically supposed to be one of the "reds" at least that's how it's classified in my car's log book.

Orange? a very popular colour in Holland I believe :o)
