MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Mk3 collapsible steering
My 18 year old son has a mk3 midget (why? you may ask - safer than a motorbike if only just) Funny how all his 18 year old mates in their Corsa's, Cleo's and Fiesta's all thinks his is the coolest car ever. Fortunately it's in pieces as he attempts what may be a rather long restoration (phew!) Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a mk4 collapsible steering column or is there a recognised modification that would enable us to fit one? If he fits a roll-over bar, 4 point harness and removes the "javelin" steering column then we're a little closer to something safe. Thanks |

Columns are interchangeable. I think I have a couple in the garage. daveo138 AT yahoo co uk |
