MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Next question 'Sump Guard'
My plans for the midget next season involve continuing sprints and hillclimbs (I have three years experience in other machines) and taking part in some historic events, i.e Croft Historic Rally. I've been looking back through previous years photos and have noticed all the midgets and sprites have sump guards. I've done a search and no-one seem to be supplying them, so I guess people fabricate them for themselves. Has anyone go any plans or ideas for a sump guard? Cheers Ant |

Might be worth having a word with Lenham sportscars - seem to think they had a midget with one. |

yes, Lenham's no doubt looked after Andrew Actman's historic rally Spridget (as he's one of the directors) so they should be able to help. |

Yes it was Andrews midget, might be able to call in and have a word this weekend. |

Ant I have made a couple of sumpguards for spridgets over the years, I still have one of them here, I have never seen one for sale commercially. I am currently scheming up a new, lighter one for the same purpose as you. Its to long winded to explain so give me a call sometime on 07725 957969 and we can discuss. Ian |
