MG Midget and Sprite Technical - nosimport shocks
Just recieved my nosimport adjustable shocks from Peter. Look really good and well made. The cost worked out to just a bit more than the Moss new uprated shocks but seem far better thought out and made. Off to put the boiley on and fit to the midget. |

Fitted!!! No problems apart from having to move the brake lines a fraction.. Now need to get out and drive it. |

Adjustables or standard?. |

He said adjustables in his post, and with that in mind, I'm really curious to hear how it goes. David, are you going to experiment with different settings? Report back... I've seen Peter's shocks, and recently attended a tech session where he discussed them. They look very interesting, and very well engineered. I know David Lieb runs a set on his Midget. -:G:- |

Went for a drive around thisafro, bearing in mind I've changed the wishbones and uprated the springs everything seems a lot steadier than the old 30% uprated. Running with the valves open 1.5 turns as suggested - may shut them a 1/4 turn later on and see what happens. The big test will be the cloverleaf rally next month. |
