MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Number plate wedges
My midget lacks the little wedges that are supposed to be behind the number plate. Result is that the plate points up slightly. I'm not that much of a stickler but I'm getting bored of people telling me it's wrong. Unfortunately, the wedges is not stocked by suppliers that I know. I'm sure I could bodge something up but it would be nice to find the right bits, or a proven equivalent. Does anyone know where I can get the wedges, or of an equivalent that is easily obtained and does the job? |

Dave O, I have hopefully sent you a mail. Do post back here if it hasn't arrived. Thanks. |

If Dave doesn't have any spare, you can use AHA9460X which are the spacers, bumper to spring bar (in Moss speak). With a bit of fiddling (fitting backwards in effect) they do the job. I can post a picture tomorrow if that will help? |

Pete I haven't had a chance to look, today, but David seems to have more than I do. |

Received and fitted. Number plate now correctly perpendicular to the ground. I shall hopefully now be immune from comments about my wonky number plate, at shows. Thanks, David S P |
