MG Midget and Sprite Technical - one small step, one giant leap for my kind!
Did my first ever piece of work on my midget today! Took out the front grille sanded, primed and painted satin black. Now i know its not an engine rebuild or gearbox strip down but im chuffed to bit with the results! Wish i'd taken a before and after shot! Rome wasn't built in a day my friends! oh and when i took the lower screws out of the grill they were held in by red rawlplugs! Whats the strangest thing you guys have found holding things on? |

If they can build yacht hulls out of ferro concrete, why not a spridget shell? Might need something in excess of a K series to propel it though. My spridget came with a floor mainly constructed from a flattened-out biscuit tin. You can't beat a bit of tinplate, it's very rust resistant. Dave |

I once found a wooden piston in a Triumph Herald. WHY would someone do that?? It would have been easier to get a correct one. Bernie. |
