I hope no Sprites were injured in the making of that movie! They're almost there, if they can also find the back of the Sprite they can make one really nice car out of it.

I think it's just you ;o)

You know what? I think if it was built that way in the first place, it would have been a huge success. If it had been sprayed before they shot that vid you'd like it a lot more too. At the moment it looks too long, but when the paint is the same colour, I reckon it will look excellent.
Lawrence Slater

With small changes the Frogeye could (have) looked like this.

F Pollock

I really like the look of the Frogeye, but I that is much more the business end. Whose is that Fergus?
Lawrence Slater

Not sure, I just reworked a Google image in Photoshop and filled in the blanks. The actual modelling would be easy to do in fiberglass in 2 or 3 days, or maybe a week in steel. The lenses would need to be drape formed off the skin surface before you cut out the lamp pockets.

F Pollock

Very clever. :) Are you tempted to mod your own frog then?
Lawrence Slater

Ferguson, I totataly love the look of that front, brilliant!
Very smooth!
Arie de Best

Ferguson?
Where did I get that from?
Sorry Fergus.

I've been toying with the idea of doing a kind of WSM coupe for some time. WSMesque but better, because the real thing is terribly crude. Trouble is I have too many old bangers, and there's a GTB waiting for bodywork and paint so the Sprite will have to wait it's turn. But the front end on it own wouldn't take long so maybe I should just start with that.
F Pollock

Well if you got it right Fergus, you might be able to make a fortune. It would look good on ANY spridget I reckon.
Lawrence Slater

You can get those in the states, called a Walker bonnet IIRC.

Although that front end in the pic above looks wider than the normal frogeye.
Tarquin

Spot on, move to the top of the class.
