MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Rack Pinion Seal
Hi folks Does anyone have a spare pinion oil seal retainer for the old style rack or point me in the direction of a supplier (currently showing as NLS on the usual sites)? According to the paperwork with the car a recon rack from a company called Spridgebits was fitted in 1984 just before the car was taken of the road. It looks like the retainer was never fitted, the felt seal was saturated with oil and full of road muck. Cheers Bill |

When I rebuilt my rack some time ago, I had to use 2 differant sources to get all the parts....but im in the usa I used moss and victoria british VB does ship international ....eeeeks hahaha Might try moss and mini spares .... mini spares sister business is minimania and they sell midget parts...so its worth dropping a dime for a chat to see Good luck Prop |

Bearing in mind that it's essentially a Morris Minor rack, that would be another avenue to explore. |
