MG Midget and Sprite Technical - 'red' rotor arms (not DD ones) report/review
For the last few years I've been trying out in my midget both AccuSpark "Red Rotor Arms" and (SimonBBC) Powerspark Ignition Ltd "POWERMAX" rotor arm.
Both of these *look to me* to be exactly the same. They're not bad and are sold at a reasonable price but they're not as good as say Bosch/Beru and don't seem to wear as well, and the inner retaining clip went a bit rusty on one. To be clear the Powerspark "POWERMAX" and the Accuspark "Red Rotor Arms" are - NOT - the same ones as the Distributor Doctor's "RED ROTOR ARMS" (which are marked DD on the rotor tips). Powerspark's "POWERMAX" branding makes no mention of the arms' colour. Accuspark's naming and wording of the description of their rotors is confusing, anyone remember the chap from Watford Classic Cars Ltd. that was dissolved on 8 January 2013 was he always this confusing(?). https://simonbbc.com/all-products/distributor-parts-spares/rotor-arms/ https://www.accuspark.co.uk/rotors.html http://www.distributordoctor.com/red-rotor-arms.html |
