MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Roll (over) Bar, '67 Midget
Hi, Seeking more invaluable advice, I was wondering if a roll-over bar coming off of a '65 midget would fit in my '67? It has four mounting points (two on the front hoop, two rear struts)... I'm aware of the safety risks, but I'm going to take my chances and wrap it with padding - I love the look of them, and in an old open car like this, I feel it's going to be safer! Thanks! Josh |

It should fit fine, the chassis was basically the same for the 65 and 67 Spridgets. Be sure to use one of the two types of approved roll bar padding, not just some foam rubber you might find at a local shop. The denisty of the foam is important to make sure you have adequate impact protection. |
