MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Seat-belt guides

Every time I get in the car I struggle to retrieve the seat belt from between the side of the seat and the door pillar. I remember seeing chrome hoops which fit on seat backs at shoulder position and which hopefully keep the seat belt in a more convenient position. Has anyone tried these before? Is there a convenient point in the seat frame to self tap into, and where can I get a pair from?

Seat belt guides on Ebay.

There's a rather lovely pair of chromed *cough*corvette*cough* guides here:

Growler

I have a great pair of seat belt guides on my MGB made in stainless steel by a pal. They clamp round the head rest post and are the bees knees. On my midget with MGF seats there isn't room between the seat and the car's side for the belt to slip down!

These look good for MGF seats. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGF-MG-F-Seat-Belt-Tidies-Pair-Made-From-Billet-Bright-Anodised-Finish-/300826492865?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item460aa7ffc1

I have found these, which fit on the headrest post, very useful:

Thanks for everyone's help. I like the idea of the post-fitting ones as that avoids trying to screw into the seat frame and the ones that Doug suggested look a bit more "period" whereas some of the others I found had (shock!) "MG" on them! Not on a Sprite!
Whether it's worth almost £30 I need to decide!

I've always used the little hooks on the insides of the door pillars. Maybe not all cars were equipped with them. But I agree with the other posts, and I think the guides would be preferable to the hooks.

a bit cheaper here - seat belt guides - http://www.mgocspares.co.uk/acatalog/MGOC_SPARES_Accessories_753.html#a35992W_2dM096

but I use the pads (same page) as they hold to the seat and you can buy them quite cheap or have MG logo as here
