My blower case looks really dull, but it's intact so i was wondering is there anyway to make the plastic look nice again? I suppose painting is out of the question. Alex

I have heard of people using black marker pen, but I don't know what the results are like.

Boot polish? Or you can get a plastic cleaner from the Swedish equivalent of Halfords. Bumper blackener or something. Malcolm

I'm sure I read somewhere about lightly applying heat from a heat gun brings a high finish back? Search on YouTube about restoring bakelite steering wheels....

there are plenty of products for cleaning and polishing plastic - Back-to-black and Armorall are two I know of. The Eastwood and Frost catalogues should have some.

if you're going to try using boot polish then use very little polish and do a lot of buffing up in stages, using finer bushes or cloths at each buffing that way you can continue to buff it up to a high polish easily with a fine brush or cloth for a long time without the need to add more polish well that's if boot polish works on the blower case in the first place
