MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Speedi-sleeve
good afternoon. After nearly 10 years i have retired from my midget 1500. Gone to an excellent home. Just left with our 'F' My question is does anyone know which speedi-sleeve is required for a midget..front crank to timing cover I believe 'a' series and 1500 are the same. I have one 99199 but want to be sure of its application.. Several people have helped me out over the years and it was much appreciated I have to say it is a LOT easier getting in/out of an F rgds tony |

I think it is a 2 inch 50.8 mm pulley so should be a 99199 sleeve https://www.triumphexp.com/forum/spitfire-and-gt6-forum.8/speedi-sleeve-part-number.954605/#msg-954605 |

Hi mark Many thanks for that. Reading on it would seem some spits have a smaller diameter seal even some 1500. It iust just that i dont remember my pulley with a 2 inch seal Anyway i have a 2inch speedi sleeve to put on ebay with a warning to check before buying !!Thanks again for your input rgds tony |

I’ve just measured a spare 1500 pulley at 2”. A-series is 1-9/16”. I think Malcolm was looking for a speedi- sleeve, unless he’s already bought one? |

A bit slow on this... but I bought one yesterday. Yes it is 2" on the 1500. And for reference (as I bought it at the same time) the seal is 3" x 2" x 0.375". Malc. |
