MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Tandem master cylinder hydraulic connections
I need to do a rebuild on the tandem master cylinder in my mk2 Sprite in the near future. It's always a real fiddle losening and tightening the two hydraulic connections as you just can't get the angle of the spanner low enough. It may have been a cheddar induced dream but I'm sure I've seen a picture of one fitted with extensions that just raise the ports up an inch or so to make this easier. These extensions (as I recall) were not made up from copper pipe but looked 'manufactured' either cast or machined. Any thoughts anyone? Cheers. |

Jeremy, you could try these people: http://www.bgcmotorsport.co.uk/newbrakepart.html maybe a banjo bolt with through connector? Graham |
