MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Thanks for all the help.
I posted the following a little earlier in the midget and Sprite General area and realised after doing so that this area might be more relevant: Hello all, 1 January 2010 saw the first public appearance of my 67 Midget after a rebuild lasting over 17 years. Over the last few years I've published a number of posts on this forum and the MGOC BBS and have received a lot of excellent advice and comment. It seems that I have unintentionally upset some listers by apparently not taking or accepting their advice so can I please set the record straight and say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has ever responded to my pleas for help. I have read every single post and if I've failed to say a personal thank you before please accept this grovelling apology and my thanks now. My final problem just before Christmas was listed under the heading "What might be wrong?" (now archived). It finally sorted itself out once we'd cleaned and modified my new Regulator and fitted a new battery. Should anyone like to see the car a PowerPoint slide show can be viewed or downloaded at www.mexson.plus.com/Midgets_Show.pps. The photos were taken at an annual New Year's day classic car meet at the Phoenix pub in Hartley Witney (a small town in Hampshire) and the rest are my posing pair at Wyndhams Pool on Yateley Common later in the afternoon. I've attached just one of those pictures. Thanks again, I'll be watching future posts just in case my limited knowledge and experience can be of any help to anyone else. |
