im not sure but an old old mechanic friend of my dads swears that once you start using that to start a car the car will always have problems starting without it untill you rebuild the carbs. he calls it coke for cars. dunno if its true or if its an old mans tall tales. anyone know? |

It seems that engines do get addicted to that stuff. We have a couple of diesel engines that we have used Easy Start on that now wont start without it!! I cant explain it but it does seem to be true. |

Often related to low compression - valve seating problems usually, burnt seats / cracked valves sort of thing. Can you do a compression test and come back to us? |

If you've only used it a couple of times, then, it can sometimes be sorted by putting a tiny bit of fuel on the top of the carbs - otherwise yes, they do get a bit sticky about it :( |

It sems to remove the ring sealing properties when used a few times, this is the theory always given out by our tech guys in the AA workshops when our relay trucks wouldnt start... nasty stuff best saved for repairing temp guage capillaries |
