MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Voltage Stabiliser Is there a difference?

Hi Guys

I have a standard 1975 1500 midget.

The voltage stabiliser for the fuel guage packed up.

I ordered a replacement voltage stabiliser for a late mg midget, yet it looks slightly different to the one that was in the car.

My thoughts are that the one in the car was for a early midget.

I am not sure if my theory is correct. Is there any differences between the two? should I change to an early voltage stabiliser?

Any thoughts would be happily received!

Rylan - The new stabilizer is solid state and will work fine in your car. The voltage stabilizer was/is equal opportunity for all years of MG. Cheers - Dave
